The Wishgiver

A man, dressed in tattered clothes and weary to the breaking point, picked out hs last gold coin. He closed his eyes and let go of it, softly to down the fountain. The coin traveled down a tank and dropped down a pipe. Looking by was a old short man. He sighed and pressed the Wish-Release button. The man, about to walk away, was caught with a Commemorative golden banknote worth £300,000.
Andrea packed up his flower shop. She looked for her gold coin. Josh walked off the bus, coin in hand. They tossed their coins into the fountain. The Wishgiver spotted it and sent two wishes. In the pipe, the coins scraped together, blocking the wishes. The Wishgiver noticed and frantically sent a few more wishes. He had one last hope: a wishgiving gun he aimed- and it fired. But it soared over the head of the two lovers, and it hit the old man with his banknote of gold. He found himself drowned in coins. He slumped. It was done. He could see the two walking away, one to the bus, another to pack up her shop. The man walked by, and looked at a short man glum on the floor. He gave him a coin.
The Wishgiver ran and threw the coin to the fountain. The coin broke the link of coins apart and sent the wishes through. Josh was whisked from the bus and Andrea from her shop. When they slammed together, the flowers exploded. Josh looked as a flower rested on his head. Andrea giggled, and Josh gave the flower to her.
The Wishgiver looked on, and with a smile, disapeared down a sewer.
