The dishonest deciever

Ernie wanted a rematch, and he promised it was going to be perfectly legal with no road bumps. He then proceeded to move his pawn into an illegal position. When the match got underway correctly,  it was a massacre. Henry’s pieces cut through the board like a scythe through tall grass. Ernie looked perplexed every few seconds, scratching his head, unsure whether he was playing chess or inventing a new board game altogether. Knights and bishops stormed the board, positioning themselves in such a way that Ernie’s king was under constant pressure.

When Henry moved his pawn into the last row of the chessboard, he looked powerful. Instead of making a queen, he went for a horse, which immediately put Ernie’s

“Incorrect move!”

He shouted.

“You can only make a queen from a pawn!”

Henry sighed.

WHY?
