The foxy fabricator

Ernie was spreading a wild claim. 

“Jack tried to frame me!”

Jack noticed his voice was going higher than usual.

“His last case!”

Jack’s last case was fairly straightforward. Ernie was found guilty of floating the balloon up to scare Jim’s beloved birds. 

“Jack would’ve gotten away with it. But for one fact!”

“Balloons only float away if they have helium!”

Jack almost laughed at the effort. 

WHY?

As you can see, Ernie’s voice is very high. This is because helium makes your voice higher.
