The clueless cluedo

For the third time, Henry made his way to Jack’s detective agency.

“Hello” Henry rolled a coin over. “I want to hire you.”

He duly explained.

The Davis family had moved over from America this summer and they had a prized possession. A Cluedo board: it was full of rare items, such as gold figurines, a 3D board and ornate cards

Yesterday, it was stolen.

When searching for clues, Ernie had told the police Henry stole the board.

“The liar, ” remarked Jack, “but what did he say?”

“He claims he saw a Cluedo board on my ice cream stand. He said he saw a very ornate word CLUEDO lettering on it.”

Jack rose from his chain.

“Case closed,” He said. “It’s obvious he lying.”

Why?

Because it’s called Clue in the US.
