North Pole Trip

Jack and his friends had won a trip to the North Pole. Unfortunately, Ernie had also won it.

Back at the base camp, Jim was looking worried. Jack asked him “What’s wrong?”

Jim replied “I lost my boots. Someone stole them. How am I supposed to trek now?”

Jack thought for a moment. Ernie’s room was near Jim’s .

It might’ve been him.

Jack called over to Ernie, who was having his lunch.

“Ernie, where were you last night?”

“I was on that optional trek and I was watching the penguins.” said Ernie.

“Why’d you ask? What did I steal?”

Jack walked over.

Nonchalantly, he asked Ernie “A pair of boots. Give them back.”
